I'm a pretty big fan of both Wes Anderson and crochet so when I saw The Grand Budapest Hotel I just knew I had to try and make a Courtesan au Chocolat. I find all of his work inspiring but I thought the pastry would lend itself to crochet really well. I've been working on this on and off amongst other things for a while and it's finally finished.
I just wish I could eat it.
