Mobile Photos and a Thought or Two

End of 2011 - end of February 2012
Steam train, glitter juice, handmade rings gifted to me by William, reading, brazil nut facts from me in William's sketchbook, toblerone cookie, tape face, new dress, snow, shortbread head, tower, drawing, the day I was on the front page of Etsy, The Craft Room, spring, claw hands, pancakes, homemade pizza (base and all), handmade envelopes.

In other news:

I often feel that my blog is missing something.
I've decided that March shall be the month I sort this out.

I'm turning the February Sale code off in the morning so last chance to grab a deal :)

Also, that pizza was the best pizza ever. If you've never made pizza from scratch go do it now, it's so easy and puts shop bought pizza to shame.

When work and such means that I don't see much of William notes get left all over the place.
Here is one I came home to the other day.

I love that monster dude.
I also love Klimt.
I love William too.

Tobin the Pancake

As Will poured out the last of the pancake mix he declared that this pancake was called Tobin.
It was the only pancake he'd decided to name.
It's also the only pancake that, once flipped, had a face.

Then we ate him.

Moomin

These are some late Christmas gifts that were given to us when mum and dad came down last weekend.
I love the Moomin illustrations.
The jar is from my brother and his girlfriend and the cups are from mum and dad but they were all gathered and brought over here to us by my brother and his girlfriend from their trip to Finland at Christmas.
I'm so pleased with them and am quite excited by the fact they've actually travelled all the way here from a Finnish shop.

I'm looking forward to making some biscuits and putting them in our new jar :)

Cromer

Mum and Dad came to visit at the weekend. On Saturday morning we went for a windy trip to Cromer before it rained.
I love the seaside when it's cold.

I Got Mentioned In The Paper!

The Craft Room was featured in the local paper, Norwich Evening News, yesterday.
It's very exciting!
Bryony is holding one of my cushion covers in the photo which is awesome enough and then I also get my name mentioned in the article too. And they spelt my surname right which, believe me, very rarely happens.

Swamp Thing (a bit vague but I can't remember which one it was) - Written by Alan Moore, Pencils by Stephen Bissette, Inks by John Totleben
The drawings in this were really pretty.

Two-Step - Written by Warren Ellis, Pencils by Amanda Conner, Inks by Jimmy Palmiotti
I was amazed at how much bad colouring can ruin a good drawing.

Transmetropolitan: Back On The Street - Written by Warren Ellis, Pencilled by Darick Robertson
This was really good. I do wish he'd stayed all hairy like he is at the beginning.

French Milk by Lucy Knisley
This made me, even more, want to go to Paris.

The Craft Room

Week 5 of 52.
This picture has not a lot to do with the rest of the post.

Today a new shop is opening in Norwich called The Craft Room. It's full of handmade things from crafty types in the area.

The Snow: Instax

We have snow!
It's the first proper snow since we've been in Norwich so I was pretty excited. I went for a nice walk and took a lot of photos which, some of, I will share here over a few posts.

The instax photos (I think) came out awesome because they developed 'badly' because (I think) they were so cold.
