Last Minute Christmas Shop Update

Sandra Sandra the paint by numbers fan.

I've had one last quick shop update before Christmas including a few brand new things as you can see. I'll be staying open over Christmas and New Year but if you need something to arrive by Christmas (in the UK) the last day I'll definitely be posting is Friday 19th which means you'd need to order by about 9.30 Friday morning for it to come into the city with me.

He also did some huge drawings / Notes for orders

I took some photos of Will's crap leg so he could start sharing stuff on his new facebook. (You can go follow him here.) This is all work he has done and that is his own leg. I hope you're suitably impressed.

I don't normally mix dslr and mobile photos in posts but I didn't have enough of either for separate posts, November was a complete mixed bag that I won't bore you with and not much photo taking was done. The worst is over now (so long as nothing else goes wrong), just the Christmas rush to get through which is equal parts stress and awesome. I'm counting down the days till I can just have a sit down and play scrabble ^_^

Clutter City Yuletide Market

The Christmas Clutter City is this Saturday (6th Dec) and I'll be there with Will selling our fancy wares along with about 30 other awesome arty types so do come along if you're in the area and/or be lovely and share the event page on facebook.

Now back to frantic stock making ^_^

Self Portrait November 2014
This is me. Hi.
I've done myself a painting to use everywhere I need some sort of icon/profile photo type thing. I also utilised my limited knowledge of digital colouring to do the orange background without completely losing the texture of the watercolour paper. Yay opacity settings!
Now to remember everywhere it needs uploading...
In other news I typed most of this without looking at the keyboard which I didn't know I could do. All those years of not going out and lurking online have finally paid off.

Crochet ~ Hats and Llamacorns

Untitled
Yesterday evening I had a little shop update. Two hats and two new llamacorns. I really hope people like the hats, I loved picking out the colours for them and really want to make more. Same with the llamacorns, choosing colours is fun and then I also really like coming up with their little bits of story that I add to the listings.

And here's some behind the scenes for you. I would normally have some front facing shots of the hats for the shop but I currently look like this. I was actually trying to draw attention to the bags under my eyes by drawing on them (as you do) but it kinda covered them up. I look better in this photo than I do in real life at the moment.

Maybe this isn't the sort of behind the scenes stuff I'm meant to share.

Autumn Afternoon

Untitled

These were taken a few days ago when the weather wasn't being quite so mean and Bernard could dig himself a messy face all he liked.

I have no idea what's growing in this boot but it looks really pretty at the moment.
Ah, lovely autumn. Even though my toes are cold and there is drizzle in the air I really do like you a lot.

October

Untitled

October was busy working and fighting off colds that never quite managed to get going and being amazed there are so many green leaves about and still settling into a new routine. Or not as the case may be but I'm pretending there's a new routine to settle into anyway. I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later. I'm a creature of habit so I'll make one out of whatever is going on.

We had a pretty good Halloween with lots of themed snacks and candles. We watched Spider House on the iplayer which was a nature programme doing exactly as the title says. It was both fascinating and horrid. But the best part was finding out about the peacock spider. I strongly suggest you check them out, here's a youtube video. The mating dance of the male is amazing, it really lives up to it's name and how he wiggles his legs around is just brilliant. Then we watched Night of the Living Dead. They're coming to get you Barbara!

Untitled

And another photo I took of the origami cranes that I liked so much when we visited the castle.

I was also pretty chuffed to see my pumpkins in a folksy newlsetter.

I can't believe it's already November. It had to be said.
