Bread

Bread
Bread

I made my first ever bread rolls.
I now love making bread. It's really quite magic.

It might just be my new favourite thing to do on a day off.

Recently...

...I have...

...let Rupert Grint and friend into the cinema to use the toilet.

...sent one of my handbound notebooks to someone in America. I hope they like it.

...purchased issue 2 of Oh Comely and discovered it's just as lovely as the first issue. Will and I are going to make the dahl and bacon soup next week.

...been amazed by this website. It's so pretty. Look at her blog also (it's new but if her last blog is anything to go by it's going to be beautiful). I've had my eye on these for a while.

...watched The Last Airbender while waiting for Will to finish work. Please don't pay extra to watch it in 3d because it's really not, I didn't wear the glasses almost the whole time and it was fine. It's like they're stealing your money.

London

Yesterday we went to London and had a really good day.
We found the Japan Centre and tried Green Tea Cheesecake which was really quite tasty. We plan on going back soon and buying things to make dinner with but we need to find out what we're looking for first.

Owl Notebook

New in my Etsy. You can choose lined paper or plain paper.

Looking forward to going bowling tonight with Will and some friends from uni that we haven't seen in ages.

I spent last night making this video
from bits I'd filmed during the day. It's not overly interesting but I think I did a pretty good job seeing as it's just a test.

Today's Treasures

A scarf and a book about breakfast (which has the loveliest illustrations) found in charity shops and a magazine to amuse myself with found in WHSmith.
Perfect rainy day buys.

Part 1

I got two lots of film developed today so I'm going to spread them out over some posts so they have proper space.
These are from a Tesco Value disposable camera and were taken over a year ago.

My Birthday!

For my birthday we went to London and spent the first half of the day in the Aquarium which was awesome. Then we found some food and sat in Trafalgar Square and had lunch. We went into the National Gallery and had tea and cakes which was incredibly tasty then we wandered down to the river and ended up sitting on Southbank for a while. Then we went and investigated a building that we overheard someone tell someone was Charing Cross station because I didn't believe it was but it turned out they were right. We walked round to Tottenham Court and then got the tube and came home. Ordered pizza from the completely stupid people at Domino's Hatfield (I won't be giving them business ever again) and then stuffed ourselves full of food and slept.

It was a good birthday.

Also, present wise, I got money and vouchers to treat myself with and I got 2 cameras! I was so pleased. Mum and Dad got me an Instax mini with a load of film and Will got me a Split Cam with a load of film. I can't wait to get the film developed from it and see all the double exposed splicing goodness. Will also got me a book of John Keats' poems and love letters to Fanny Brawne which he had painted on.

All in all, it was a pretty awesome birthday.

Now for some photos.

We love pigeons.

Morning shot, my very first Instax photo!

Birthday Trip to the Aquarium

For my birthday William took me to London Aquarium. It was brilliant.

The photos have loaded backwards in order to how they happened but this is the finale of the aquarium, getting to walk over the top of the shark tank. It was really cool to see everything swimming around under your feet.

There are more photos on my flickr and there will be another post for the non-aquarium related bits of my birthday.

Cinnabar

On my way home from the shop I noticed this little fellow.
According to what I found out on google he's going to become a Cinnabar moth which are also rather pretty.

In other news I have had my first sale on Etsy!!
Well done me :)
