Strawbs and Bernards

It feels like forever ago that I last went exploring with my camera so the other day I took my camera into the garden when I let Bernard out for his munchy run around. I'm really surprised the strawberry plant is still flowering and producing strawberries. The weather seems a little drunk lately.



I love the colour difference between the thorn and the rest of the plant. Although they're not called thorns on a rose bush are they? I've watched too much QI, stupid facts are always trying to correct me in my own head.



This only gives a glimpse of how dirty his face was, he was covered in mud. Furry little monster.

I realised I hadn't shared these in a while but I have still been doing them! I've got another post to catch up to the most recent ones, this got a bit long. The brown fineliner ones are done before bed half asleep with the only pen I have nearby. I've been kind of busy and tired so I often forget about this till the last minute. I'm hoping to do a few more 'proper' ones soon (whatever that means).

August

August was weird. There was my birthday and the beach and the zoo for the first half and then there was dinosaurs and a doughnut and the wonder that is Bernard. There was lots of walking all around Norwich giving moral support to Will while he shows off his portfolio trying to find a tattoo apprenticeship. Yet, it seemed oddly sparse. Funny old month.
I'd say it was a good month but really quite tiring which sounds like a negative but being tired can come from doing a lot of positive things I guess.
