For all of February I have done nothing but edit photos. At least that's how it feels. And it feels slightly crazed. But I think it's been worth it.

Both my shops now have a cohesive look to them that I think looks good and makes it easier for me to photograph items and get them in the shop quicker without having to worry about whether modelling that hat today means everyone will see my massive spot or the clothes horse in the background.

But mostly because I think it looks good and brings the shop together.

There are a few items that need changing or adding to but I'd love it if you went and had a look, etsy here and folksy here.

If you think it was a really bad idea then don't tell me right away, I don't think I'd be able to take it.

Now to finish off the first lot of amigurumi yokai and get an about page sorted for here and re-do my website and I have a market coming up in March to prepare for and all the other ideas I have scribbled down in various places to make and draw. It's lucky I like keeping busy.

It's always a little bit weird finishing a sketchbook. Not really sure why.
It's quite exciting to start a new one though.

Turns out I haven't shared anything of my sketchbook for a while and I filled one up the other day so I thought it'd be a good time to catch up.

Post and a Little Story

The other day I came home to this rather lovely package.
I'm so excited by the tights and the fact that the little purse is a lip balm and that I have my own copy of Pride and Prejudice and that it has such a good cover and that little baby penguin, aw!!!
Getting post that isn't bills is just too exciting.

Seeing as it's Valentine's and I've already mentioned my mum, here's a little story.
When I was little, I can't remember how old but it must have still been single figures, I remember being really upset and when mum asked me what was wrong I told her that I hadn't been given any Valentine's Day cards. I was in bed and she came in to ask if she could borrow my felt pens and a little while later she turned up with a Valentine's card for me. Aw. Looking back, I'm glad it's the only Valentine's card I got. Much better than any smelly boy.
These days I don't mind if I don't get a card on Valentine's day, there are more important things to worry about.

Day 37 - Cheap cheap cereal in the heart cup I got in The Craft Room. It's so cute.



Day 39 - Star pug hanging out with the dvds.



Day 40 (Also 6.52) - Taking photo's for my etsy/folksy make overs. It's proving to be a long process but I think it's going to turn out pretty cool. (This scarf is in my Etsy shop)



Day 41 - Fizzy pink wine we were given before Christmas.

Day 23 - A windmill from a trip to a Norfolk beach for my birthday years before I even thought about living here.



Day 27 - Earless Totoro. He later got some ears and went off to Will's sister for her birthday.
