I made a decoration to go round a candle holder Christmas centre piece for this month's Simply Crochet magazine. The issue (38) comes with a cute calendar and stickers too.
I think these lovely ladies would look cute as any other type of decoration too. Make a string of them and hang like bunting or make individual ones, add a loop of thread to the top of the hat and hang them on the tree or if you're the big badge type throw a pin on the back and jazz up a plain jumper.
