December is such an odd month. All the hard work and extra craziness getting ready for Christmas seems so far away once Christmas starts and now that the first week of the year has happened it seems like even Christmas and New Year happened ages ago too.
December was good though, I was lucky to have to work so hard (so hard that my wrist gave up on crochet for a while, oops) and Christmas was a really good break from the work. It was really nice to have a massive sit down and eat and play games.
I also now have a mighty fine pile of presents to enjoy, including a pretty impressive book pile that I can't wait to dive into.
