The photo that broke my phone

I took this photo of our broken old bin, I don't know why either, and then the next time I tried to take a photo the camera just wouldn't open at all. and then that night, as if a broken camera wasn't enough of a reason to replace my phone, the battery started failing too.

It's like my phone was just so disappointed in me that it couldn't go on.

So I had to replace my phone. I got a refurbished samsung galaxy s7 because the idea of making children (or adults) do dangerous mining work for precious metals when there are fully functioning phones sitting there makes me kinda sick.
Recently I also caught a cold (exactly one week after Will had it), we saved a collared dove from a cat (i wish people kept cats inside), the collection date for our old sofa finally came around and we put up our new futon, I downloaded the clip studio free trial, twice people turned up to measure our windows without anyone telling us about it (i hate renting), I started learning japanese on duolingo and we still haven't replaced the bin.

My new phone is treating me well so far and I'm almost at the end of my cold and hoping I can get the motivated feeling back that I had before I got ill.
