I always find it interesting to see what other people have been reading or watching or listening to and I have an odd fondness for keeping record of the things I have read etc so I figured I would start putting some of it on here.
A little background info. I adore Tank Girl. As simple as that. I started on comics a lot later than I'd like to admit but I'm not one to dwell on such things. As far as I recall Tank Girl was my first proper venture into the comic book world, maybe at the end of college/start of uni, with the collections of the Martin/Hewlett era. I have the 3 collections in the image and love them.

I now also love Rufus Dayglo, the current artist for Tank Girl but these days I'm restricted to what the library has on offer due to being poor and such like.

I don't like Superman. Never have. He's far too pompous.But the basic idea of this story is 'what if Superman had been raised in Russia rather than America?' and it's genius.
I wasn't sure about reading this and after reading it am still not sure of my opinion on it. I think I liked it as a comic but if it had been a book I probably wouldn't have read it all.
I think I'm going to try another of Posy Simmonds' out of curiosity.

I'm making my way through all the Walking dead comics at the moment and I love it !
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend's working his way through Walking Dead aswell and keeps telling me how good they are, I'll have to finally get round to looking at them too.
