Meet Bernard, the Bunny
This is Bernard. We have been asked if we would like him to live in our garden. We obviously said yes. Who wouldn't?!
He likes to nibble and jump around.
He seems to really enjoy a head/neck scratch.
He's also so fluffy that you can barely make him out.
He's lovely and a pretty perfect addition to our home.

Gif Face Garratt
When trying to take a self portrait for work use when you don't know what to do with your face when there's a camera infront of it, it will inevitably turn into gif fodder.
Yeah, I know, I don't get it either.

100 Days ~ 29 to 35
Day 29
Day 30
Days 31 and 32
Days 33 and 34 I could lightly poke mochi forever, it's so soft you can barely feel it. It's also so tasty you need to eat it though, these were green tea and red bean paste flavours.
Day 35 I'm all about the food.

Banham Zoo ~ Part 3
Here are the last of my zoo photos. I really like this llama's face splotches.
This seal only came out of the water briefly for a quick pose. I appreciate it.
When we got to the penguins they were in the process of being caught for weighing or something and they were quite on edge. In the nicest possible way it's quite funny watching a zoo keeper reluctantly put their arm in a hole full of angry penguins and then seeing one of the angry penguins try and attack them once they're being held. Most birds seem to calm down once you're holding them but not penguins, they're vicious.
These aren't the best photos, they were in the dark behind glass in a room that had a glass ceiling reflecting lots of light on their glass but I had to share them anyway because this fella was just so damn cute.
And to finish, I think I can say with some certainty that this is the best photo I will ever take of a llama.

100 Days ~ 21 to 28
Days 21, 22 and 25
Day 24 I did these with my eyes closed, I'm actually impressed how much they look like faces.
Day 26 with additional doodles.
Day 27
You can see the horse that caused this in this post. So soft.

Banham Zoo ~ Part 2
That tortoise decided to walk on top of one of the others and then got temporarily stuck on it's back with his belly resting on the back of the one he was on and his little legs dangling about trying to find somewhere to go. Silly tortoise.
These horses had the softest noses ever. I could have touched their faces all day.
This snow leopard was sitting out all proud and we were really glad to see him so easily and then we went round to the other side of the enclosure and came across this...
We were so close.
Then they woke up a little bit and had a peek about.
But quite quickly drifted back to sleep...
and then squishy sleep teef face. So cute.

Banham Zoo ~ Part 1
Will's Grandparents took us to the zoo for my birthday (which was lovely of them) and it was great. I don't think I could have a bad day at a zoo.
These giraffes wanted that twig so bad. I was surprised they peeled the bark off, I thought they just ate the leaves. But they well and truly stripped it.
Big cats acting like little cats is always funny.
These zebras eat each others poop.
Will's Grandad made a new friend.
Nice marmot.

Crochet ~ Dinosaurs and Doughnuts
This months Simply Crochet magazine (issue 21) has a couple of my designs featured in it. I was so pleased to see these guys on the first page having the cutest fight ever.
As well as the dino buddies there is also my doughnut pin cushion complete with pin sprinkles in the same issue.
I've had a few things printed in Simply Crochet now and it hasn't stopped being awesome seeing things I designed and made being all styled and glossy out in the world for people to see.
I like my job.

Sea Palling Part 2
I think I could just hang out near the sea forever.
This photo of me was taken by Will. I'm pretty good at having my photo taken.
You can see here how far out the rocks are now. It doesn't look like you could have ever just walked out to them and gone rock pooling. It's weird to think of all the little creatures that spend half their time with almost no water and then half their time completely in the sea.
I love bird foot prints. At the end of the day when people were leaving more and more seagulls were turning up. I don't know if it was for dropped food or because it wasn't as hot but it made for pretty sand patterns.
By the end of the day Will's magnificent city had started to dry out and crumble which made it look pretty ancient. The ruin suited it quite well.
It's just not a day at the seaside without a couple of photos of cool signage. I love the seaside, I'd spend all my time there if I could.
The first post is here.
