Days 75 - 81 // 365 2015
Day 75 - There were boobies on my desk.
Day 76 - I can't cope with how fuzzy and cute he is. Look at his dainty legs!!
Day 77 - I made the best bread of my life and I was really proud and talked about it all evening.
Day 78 - Worked on a custom llamacorn and had a visit to the library.
Day 79 - Spring being a flirt.
Day 80 - Bed bed bed.
Day 81 - My oak tree isn't looking so good. Will says maybe oak trees aren't meant to live in tins inside but I refuse to believe him.

March 2015 A Day In The Life Of
March 20th was the solstice and therefore the flickr group 'a day in the life of' day too. I say this every time but I always want to take part and then either forget or just have nothing to take photos of but I tried this time and mostly there is blossom but it's so pretty, so who cares.
My day started not even knowing where the sun was to see the eclipse. It did get darker though but in a way that just seemed like it was going to rain really hard.
I finished off this custom llamacorn.
Then, knowing the eclipse was long gone, the sun came out so I headed out for a walk
And tried to be brave getting close to buzzy dudes.
Spring is properly teasing us this year. I've decided to not wear my winter coat anymore like a stubborn thing but it's actually still pretty cold most of the time. It's sunny and wonderful one minute then grey and gross the next. That's Britain though I guess.

Illustration ~ Stephen Fry
Again, this is something that will eventually end up in a zine. I imagine for a while all the paintings I do will have zines in mind but I figured I'd share them as I went along. That's what I'm figuring this morning anyway. Who knows what I'll figure later on. Boop.
I love Stephen Fry. I watch a lot of QI and how bemused he often seems by ladies is really quite cute.

Illustration ~ Boobs
Breasts, tits, boobs, milk hills. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours and they're all awesome.
Fact.
I'm working on a few different ideas for my monthly zines at the minute. These will be in there somewhere. Not sure what this month's zine will be yet but it will definitely exist.

Day 73 - Hornet's nest! It's so pretty and neat and amazing.

Days 61 - 67 // 365 2015
Day 61 - My desk is pretty huge but I always end up working in the tiniest space. Because I'm an idiot. You can see the finished painting here.
Day 62 - Night time studio.
Day 63 - Popped into the cathedral to use the toilets on my way into the city and couldn't resist having a wander round the cloister.
Day 64 - I don't really know. I was getting ready for bed and needed a photo?
Day 65 - Making BMOs.
Day 66 - Apple and banana muffins ^_^
Day 67 - Film critics are to be ignored. I really enjoyed Chappie. I only read reviews after I've seen films and I was really surprised by how down on it everyone seems to be. They're all being a bit pretentious, I think. Not everything has to be trying to win an oscar (thank god!). Also, the idea that Die Antwoord sit around listening to only their own music made me laugh.

Crochet ~ Rainy Day Rabbits
The new issue of Simply Crochet (issue 29) comes with a free booklet and it's one of my designs, well, a pair of designs! Two cute rainy day rabbits complete with rainy day attire including a cherry blossom leaf hat. They look so cute, I'm always happy with how my designs get photographed by the magazine. This booklet even has a few of my own photos in there!
If you make the rabbits then be sure to let me know. You can tag me on instagram or twitter (@vongarratt) or comment here or send me an email. I'd love to see them!
