Spooky City Parade
This year was the first Spooky City parade in Norwich. We didn't dress up but went along to have a look at everyone that did (and to take lots of blurry photos that kind of work because it's spooky...). The parade started up at the castle, we joined it just below and it went through to The Forum. There were performers along the side of the route, the best of which had to be the bats. I love their big furry bellies, best bat costumes ever. Also she was making the oddest bat squeak sound which was just brilliant.
Then we came home, ate sausage and bean cassorole, lots of sweets and watched some classic Hammer Horror.
Our Halloween always lacks in trick or treaters but I don't really mind, more sweets for me :)

All Hallows' Eve Eve
We're big fans of Halloween so obviously we had to go and see the giant pumpkin being carved in The Forum the day before.
It was so big it didn't look real. I thought it looked really soft because of how it's kind of splooged out at the bottom but obviously it's not. (carved by Ray Noakes)
Then we came home and made ghost biscuits. They may well look like they were made by children but they were in fact made by two adults that bake like children, children that bake awesome tasty ghosts.
Week 43
Day 295 (22.10.13) - The poppy seeds we took from the farm are starting to sprout :)
Day 296 (23.10.13) - Spooky.

Day 299 (26.10.13) - Although it's clearly christmas themed this box is on my desk all the time. Maybe it's bad luck...

Day 301 (28.10.13) - Always too many things on the floor.
